Welcome to the Introspect Lab

In our lab, we study when and how individuals gain and drain resources based on their role (e.g., being a parent, being a friend, being an employee) and social identities (e.g., being a work team member) and the conditions when others, such as supervisors or colleagues, perceive such resources acquisitions and losses. Overall, we are advocates of the whole-person approach - considering work and non-work identities and roles - to achieving sustainable careers.
